Minister Aaron M. Best is the youngest son born to Mae F. Best
and the late Joseph Best, Sr. He is a graduate of Housatonic Community
College with an Associates of Science Degree in Small Business Management;
he completed his Under Graduate Studies at The University of Bridgeport
with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Studies; and is now attending
Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York, seeking to complete
the Master of Divinity Degree program
Minister Best was baptized on April 14, 2003 by Rev. Johnny Gamble,
Pastor and Founder of Friendship Baptist Church of Stratford. On August 31, 2008,
Minister Best delivered his initial sermon; becoming the First Son of Friendship
Baptist Church to be a licensed minister under Rev. Johnny Gamble; and he is
mentored by Rev. Timoth Spain.
He is led by his favorite scripture, Psalm 27 and his favorite hymn is
“Glory Glory Hallelujah!” He is President of the Friendship Baptist Church
Men’s Alliance Ministry; Amour Bearer to Pastor Gamble; member of the Pastor’s
Aide Ministry, and member of the Prison Ministry, with Rev. Spain. In 2008
Minister Best became a member of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance (IMA)
of Greater Bridgeport and Vicinity, and he is also a business owner; he is
President and Chief Operating Officer of Global Business Alliance, LLC
a business management and consulting company.
