Rev. Beulah Dixon is an Associate Minister of Friendship Baptist Church of
Stratford, Stratford, Connecticut and she presently serves on the Ushering
Committee, the Missionary Ministry, and the Floral Ministry. She also sings
in the J. G. Ensemble. Rev. Dixon teaches bible class at Garden Heights
Convalescent Home in Shelton, Connecticut, once a month and she is currently
a substitute teacher with the Bridgeport Public School District.
Rev. Dixon graduated from E. E. Smith High School in Kenansville, North
Carolina and the DeShazor’s School of Hairdressing in Durham, North
Carolina. She received her Associates Degree in Theology from Foundation
Bible College. Rev. Dixon further attended Word of Faith College based in
New Orleans. Louisiana; Bethel Bible Institute, Housatonic Community
College, and the University of Bridgeport; always seeking to expand her
knowledge and helping others.
She is happily married to the wonderful Deacon Elbert Dixon, also a working
member of Friendship Baptist Church of Stratford, where he serves as a
deacon. She is the mother of two, grandmother of ten, and great-grandmother
of one.
Rev. Dixon answered the divine call to the gospel ministry on February 17,
1985. She is truly a child of God and is happy that the Lord has chosen her
to work in his vineyard. Her favorite expression is: “I CAN’T THANK GOD
ENOUGH!”
