Minister Glenn I. Pettway has lived in the Bridgeport area all of his life
and has attended and received his education in the Bridgeport school system.
He has attended a number of Christian Bible Schools in the tri-state area
and has come under some great Christian leadership. Minister Pettway has
received many certificates as proof of his dedication to learn and study the
word of God.
In May 2008, Minister Pettway was chosen by Dr. Boise Kimber,
President of the Connecticut State Missionary Baptist Convention, to
Chair the music committee of the Convention; working diligently to
see the outcome of what God can do when you trust Him. Minister
Pettway brought together brought together a combined mass choir from
eight city churches.
Presently, Minister Pettway is attending CSCR School of Religion. He is President of the Friendship Baptist Church of Stratford Men’s chorus.
On September 22, 2008, he gave his initial sermon at Friendship
Baptist Church of Stratford; where he is a licensed associate
minister under the Pastor and Founder, Rev. Johnny Gamble. Minister
Pettway is a true man of God and is always looking to serve the Lord
and preach His word.
