Rev. Leora Reasor

Reverend Leora Reasor, a native of Columbia, North Carolina, is an Associate Minister at the Friendship Baptist Church of Stratford, CT, where she serves under the leadership of Pastor Johnny Gamble. Rev. Reasor is a graduate of Tyrell County High School, North Carolina, and received her Bible education at the Connecticut Institute of Christian Religion and The Southern New England Bible School.

Having been blessed with the heart of Missionary, by vocation, Rev. Reasor has worked extensively in the healthcare industry, with special concentration in the spinal injuries. As Chaplin her work also includes ministering to the aged, the grief-stricken and dying.

As a youth, Rev. Reasor accepted Christ under the pastorate of Rev. Eugene M. Person. She was licensed to preach on August 7, 1988 by Rev. James MacMillion, St. James Baptist Church, Norwalk, Connecticut and was ordained on May 1, 1994 by Rev. Dr. Horace I. Holloman, at The Community Baptist Church, New Canaan, Connecticut. During her tenure at Community, she served as Interim Pastor from Dec1 1997 until May 31, 1997.

Rev, Reasor is married to Rev. Emmanuel Reasor, Jr. They have two children and five grandchildren. The condition and well being of all people is of great importance to Rev. Reasor. As an Associate Minister and member in good standing of the Friendship Baptist Church of Stratford, Rev. Reasor serves as minister of the Missionary Ministry, conducts and oversees the Children’s Workshops held every Saturday and teaches Teen Sunday School. She is retired from the Visiting Nurses Association and best know for her friendliness, compassion, and generosity.
